Moosend is an email marketing platform that prices by number of contacts and includes unlimited email sends on its main plan. This guide uses Moosend’s own pricing page, read on 30 October 2026, with prices in US dollars. Moosend’s page shows a price for each contact tier from 500 up to 1 million. I could confirm the 500-contact price, but I could not step through the other tiers reliably, so they are not listed here. Use the selector on Moosend’s page for your own list size.
Moosend plans at a glance
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 for 30 days | No credit card. Unlimited sends for up to 1,000 contacts |
| Pro | From $9/month for 500 contacts (monthly billing) | Price rises with your contact count |
| Moosend+ | Custom | Pro features plus add-ons you choose |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | All features, account manager, priority support |
Paying twice a year saves 15% and paying annually saves 20%. Moosend also lists a 25% discount for nonprofit organisations, which it says can be applied on top of the 20% annual discount.
The 30-day free trial
Moosend’s FAQ says the trial includes the email builder, templates, an AI writer, automations, segmentation, landing page and form design, unlimited sends for up to 1,000 contacts, and email and live chat support. Its comparison table shows the trial is limited to one published automation workflow, one unpublished form, one unpublished landing page and two team members. There is no permanent free plan. When the trial ends you can choose a subscription or buy email credits, and Moosend says your data stays intact.
An earlier version of this article described the trial as unlimited contacts with every feature. The 1,000-contact and one-workflow limits above are what Moosend’s page shows.
What the Pro plan includes
- Unlimited email campaigns and sends
- Email marketing automation, landing pages and subscription forms
- An SMTP server
- Five team members and 80+ integrations
Moosend’s pricing page marks transactional emails, SSO and SAML, and an account manager as not included in Pro. They come through Moosend+ add-ons or Enterprise. Other Moosend+ add-ons include dedicated IPs, hosted files, custom dashboards and extra team members.
Pay-as-you-go email credits
If you send occasionally, Moosend sells email credits instead of a subscription. Each credit is one email to one recipient, and credits never expire. The page lists blocks of 350,000 credits for $350, 500,000 for $500, 750,000 for $750 and 1,000,000 for $1,000.
Who owns Moosend
Constant Contact announced on 6 June 2025 that it had acquired Moosend from Sitecore, and Moosend’s site now describes it as a Constant Contact company. Constant Contact said Moosend would continue to power Sitecore’s Send product. This article makes no claim about what changes next.
How it compares
- Brevo: automation sits on its Standard plan from $18/month, priced by send volume rather than contacts, with a free plan capped at 300 emails a day.
- AWeber: Lite is $15/month ($12.50 billed annually) for 0-500 subscribers with 3 automations, and Plus is $30/month ($20 annually) with unlimited automations. AWeber also has a free plan for 500 subscribers and 3,000 emails a month.

Is Moosend worth it?
It may suit you if you have a small list, want unlimited sends and automation at the entry price, and prefer paying by contacts rather than by emails sent.
Look elsewhere if you need a permanent free plan, want SMS (Moosend’s pricing page does not list it), or have a large list where contact-based pricing climbs.
Frequently asked questions
Does Moosend have a free plan?
No permanent free plan. It offers a 30-day trial with no credit card.
What does Moosend cost?
Pro starts at $9/month for 500 contacts on monthly billing. Other contact tiers are on Moosend’s selector.
Can I downgrade if my list shrinks?
Yes. Moosend says the change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. It also says it counts unique email addresses, so a subscriber on several lists is billed once.
Does Moosend accept PayPal?
Moosend says it accepts credit cards and PayPal.
Verdict
Moosend’s draw is simple pricing: one main plan with unlimited sends and automation, scaled by contacts. Use the 30-day trial to build your first automation, then price your own list size before committing.
